We are a community lead society that has been operating in the Nillumbik Shire for over 50 years.
DVAS offers a range of art exhibitions, demonstration, classes and workshops throughout the year. We are based in two picturesque locations - Edendale Community Environment Farm (Eltham) and The Slovenian Club (Research).
For many years now, DVAS has been a warm and welcoming place, an art hub for people of diverse creative interests.
Our mission is to create an inclusive and nurturing environment where artists of all backgrounds and skill levels can come together to explore, create, and celebrate the arts. Through our activities and events, we strive to inspire and engage both our members and the wider community, promoting a shared appreciation for the transformative power of art.

We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which we gather as an arts society, and pay our respects to their elders past, present and future. We extend that respect to any Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who may be with us on site today.
